At this point, everyone knows who Billie Eilish is. In the past year, she has won numerous awards like the Best New Artist, Push Artist of the Year, and Best Editing for "Bad Guy” at the MTV Video Music Awards, and Choice Female and Breakout Artist at the Teen Choice Awards. This week alone she was nominated for Best Video and Best Song for "Bad Guy" as well as Best New Artist, Biggest Fanbase, Best Push Artist, and Best US Act. Her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? is the best-selling debut album of the decade. Just to remind you, this girl is only 17 years old.

I first saw Billie live less than a year ago in November, and there were maybe 200 people at the venue to see her. When I told my friends and family who I was going to see, they had no idea who she was. People would ask me to name songs of hers because they didn't know them. Little did I, or everyone else, know how fast she would blow up.

I then went to see her again in June, and the venue I went to – which holds up to 6,000 people - was sold out. In the following 7 months, I not only watched her blow up on the Internet, but also saw first-hand how much her confidence in her performance improved and how more and more people kept falling in love with her. She just announced that she's going on a world tour, and it blows my mind. In 11 months, she went from performing in small venues for 200 people to traveling the world for billions to go and see her live. I can only imagine how surreal it is for her to experience.
Billie has always been an artist I loved since she came out with “Ocean Eyes.” It is really cool to see her success and see her grow through it. I plan on going to her world tour and it's going to be insane to see her in one of the biggest venues in Philly. If you don't already know her music or who she is, I highly recommend taking a listen and learning about the message she is trying to send to her fans. Even though she is only 17, she's already making such a huge impact and it's going to be interesting to see what she can do in the future.
